Firing
A technologically very demanding way of branding promotional items made of glass and ceramics. It uses spot colors, therefore it is not suitable for full-color motifs and logos. Items printed with firing can be washed in an automatic dishwasher without damaging the printed motifs.
Production
The print data is first screen printed on special transfer paper. The paper sheet is then attached to the printed object and baked in a special oven. The ink is transferred from the paper to the glaze of the mug, where it sets at a high temperature. The print is now finished and is part of the glaze of the mug, so it is better able to resist mechanical damage.
