Circular textile
It all starts with circular design that respects recycling requirements. Then the clothes go to you, make you happy for a long time, and then you have the opportunity to return them.
Nilmore then recycles it and makes new clothes of the same quality. It's a never-ending process where waste becomes a resource, saving our environment.
To achieve circularity, the company has developed its own textile materials. The products are not made from mixtures of materials to maintain recyclability, and use mostly already recycled resources, which they keep in circulation through molecular recycling.
Circular materials
# NILPLA®
Bio-based material from renewable sources (corn or sugar cane), which is classified in the same group as tencel or viscose. Thanks to NILPLA® in the production and waste phase, it achieves 86% lower carbon footprint compared to polyester and 68% lower carbon footprint compared to cotton.
# NILPET®
Made from 100% recycled polyester derived from PET bottles and other waste, and 100% recyclable thanks to our Nilmore® Circular System. This saves up to 87% of CO2 emissions, 85% of water and 51% of chemicals compared to conventional polyester.
# NILCOTT®
Made from 50% recycled cotton and 50% organic cotton, it is also fully recyclable. 1 kg of recycled cotton saves up to 14,740 litres of water, 23 kg of CO2 emissions, 56 kwh of energy, 11 kg of chemicals and 10.5 m2 of land.
# CIRPAD
Made from manufacturing and marine waste (fishing nets, etc.) that is infinitely recyclable into the same quality fiber. Until now it has been used to make swimwear or carpets, we have brought it into the fashion world. As a result, we are reducing the global warming impact of this material by 90% compared to its production from fossil fuels.
